DRIVING DIRECTIONS

  Directions from Savannah
  • Take I-16 WEST
  • Take US-441 Exit 51 toward DUBLIN/McRAE
  • When approaching Milledgeville, you will pass a large sign on the LEFT hand side of the road which reads Colony Farm Correctional Institution and Georgia Correctional Industries, almost directly across the road will be a sign for the Georgia Forestry Commission. Continue on until you come to the first Traffic Light. Turn RIGHT (441 South - Business).
  • Travel approx. 2 miles until you reach a caution light, turn RIGHT (Hardwick Street).
  • Go approx. ½ mile until you reach the Stop sign. At this point, you will be on the CSH Campus. Turn LEFT. On your RIGHT will be the Powell Building (large white building). Parking is available in the front of the building.

      Directions from South Augusta

  • Take Hwy. 1 to Wrens, GA.
  • At Wrens, take Hwy. 88 to Sandersville, GA.
  • At Sandersville, take Hwy. 24 West to Milledgeville.
  • As you are coming into Milledgeville, Turn LEFT at the 4th Traffic Light (S. Wayne St.).
  • Continue on S. Wayne St. and go through 4 traffic lights. As soon as you pass the 4th traffic light, get in the LEFT hand lane. Turn LEFT (Before the EXXON station) onto Swint Avenue. Continue until you get to the next light. Powell Building is diagonally to the RIGHT. Turn RIGHT for Parking in the front of the Powell Building.

      Directions from Augusta @ I-20

  • Take I-20 West until you reach the Camak Exit, turn LEFT (Hwy. 80)
  • Take Hwy. 80 to Warrenton. At Warrenton, get on Hwy. 16 West (to Sparta).
  • At Sparta, take Hwy. 22 West into Milledgeville.
  • As you are coming into Milledgeville, Turn LEFT at the 4th Traffic Light (S. Wayne St.).
  • Continue on S. Wayne St. and go through 4 traffic lights. As soon as you pass the 4th traffic light, get in the LEFT hand lane. Turn LEFT (Before the EXXON station) onto Swint Avenue. Continue until you get to the next light. Powell Building is diagonally to the RIGHT. Turn RIGHT for Parking in the front of the Powell Building.

      Directions from Columbus

  • Take Hwy 80 EAST from Columbus to Macon. Stay on Hwy. 80 until it intersects with I-75.
  • Take I-75 NORTH, then take I-16 (to Savannah). It is only about a mile from the time you get on I-75 to the I-16 exit, so stay in the RIGHT Lane.
  • Get off at the first Exit on I-16 (Spring Street/US 23/US 129/GA 49) EXIT 1A, Turn LEFT. Go about 1 mile.
  • Turn RIGHT onto GA-49/SHURLING DRIVE for approximately 25 miles.
  • Turn RIGHT onto Allen Memorial Dr SW for approximately 3 miles.  Cross US-441/GA-29/IRWINTON Rd and continue on Allen Memorial Dr. until you reach the stop sign at the end of the road. 
  • Turn RIGHT onto US 441/GA 29/Irwinton Rd. and proceed approx. 1/4 mi. to the caution light.
  • Turn LEFT onto Hardwick St.
  • Go approx. ½ mile until you reach the Stop sign. At this point, you will be on the CSH Campus. Turn Left. On your RIGHT will be the Powell Building (large white building). Parking is available in the front of the building.

      Directions from Macon, GA

  • Spring Street becomes US 129.  Take US-129 about 1 mile.
  • Turn RIGHT onto GA-49/SHURLING DRIVE for approximately 25 miles.
  • Turn RIGHT onto Allen Memorial Dr SW for approximately 3 miles.  Cross US-441/GA-29/IRWINTON Rd and continue on Allen Memorial Dr. until you reach the stop sign at the end of the road. 
  • Turn RIGHT onto US 441/GA 29/Irwinton Rd. and proceed approx. 1/4 mi. to the caution light.
  • Turn LEFT onto Hardwick St.
  • Go approx. ½ mile until you reach the Stop sign. At this point, you will be on the CSH Campus. Turn LEFT. On your RIGHT will be the Powell Building (large white building). Parking is available in the front of the building.

      Directions from Atlanta

  • Take I-20 EAST/Purple Heart Hwy from Atlanta to the Eatonton/Madison Exit 114 (US 441) and turn RIGHT off of the exit and proceed to Milledgeville (about 40 miles).
  • Turn RIGHT onto Roberson Mill Rd./MILLEDGEVILLE BYPASS/CULVER KIDD PKWY (the Milledgeville Mall will be on your RIGHT). Continue straight for 4.3 miles
  • Turn LEFT onto Allen Memorial Dr for 1.4 miles
  • Turn RIGHT onto US 441/GA 29/Irwinton Rd. and proceed approx. 1/4 mi. to the caution light.
  • Turn LEFT onto Hardwick St.
  • Go approx. ½ mile until you reach the Stop sign. At this point, you will be on the CSH Campus. Turn LEFT. On your RIGHT will be the Powell Building (large white building). Parking is available in the front of the building.

      Directions from Atlanta-South-I-75

  • Take I-75 South
  • Merge onto I-16 E via EXIT 165 on the LEFT toward Savannah.
  • Get off at the first Exit on I-16 (Spring Street/US 23/US 129/GA 49) EXIT 1A, turn LEFT. Go about 1 mile.
  • Turn RIGHT onto GA-49/SHURLING DRIVE for approximately 25 miles.
  • Turn RIGHT onto Allen Memorial Dr SW for approximately 3 miles.  Cross US-441/GA-29/IRWINTON Rd and continue on Allen Memorial Dr. until you reach the stop sign at the end of the road. 
  • Turn RIGHT onto US 441/GA 29/Irwinton Rd. and proceed approx. 1/4 mi. to the caution light.
  • Turn LEFT onto Hardwick St.
  • Go approx. ½ mile until you reach the Stop sign. At this point, you will be on the CSH Campus. Turn LEFT. On your RIGHT will be the Powell Building (large white building). Parking is available in the front of the building.
