OIG (OFFICE OF
INSPECTOR GENERAL) COMPLIANCE PROGRAM |
|
Central State Hospital has voluntarily implemented a Compliance Program that sets forth standards of conduct and policies/procedures dedicated to detecting, reporting, correcting, and preventing illegal and unethical conduct. To ensure all Central State Hospital employees are provided with the opportunity to report illegal/unethical conduct, a “Hospital Hot Line” has been established. This “Hospital Hot Line” will be completely anonymous unless employees choose to identify themselves. Employees will be requested, at a minimum, to identify the hospital services, department or office involved when contacting the hotline. To insure anonymity, an answering machine will be connected to the following number, which will be available 24 hours a day, (1-478-445-7248). The calls from this line will be logged and investigated. Central State Hospital employees and all other individuals are encouraged to utilize the “Hospital Hot Line” anytime they observe any evidence of fraud and abuse, misconduct, or other actions which compromise the integrity of services provided by the hospital. It is the policy of Central State Hospital to comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. In addition to the “Hospital Hot Line”, the HHS-OIG Hotline telephone number, 1-800-HHS-TIPS (1-800-447-8477), is also available for reporting fraud and abuse. Employees and all other individuals may contact the Central State Hospital Compliance Office electronically at: |
